By becoming a season subscriber, you can guarantee yourself the best seats on the days you love to attend. In addition to seeing great plays performed by some of Chicago's finest actors in an intimate setting, our subscribers also receive the following benefits:

Savings

Subscribers save an average of 20-30% over buying single tickets to each performance.

Priority Seating

Subscription seats are sold before individual tickets go on sale to the general public, insuring that our subscribers get the best seats in the house. Previous productions have sold out and single ticket buyers were turned away. The only way to guarantee seats to every show is by subscribing.

Free Ticket Exchanges

Can't make a specific show date? No problem! Our subscribers can exchange tickets to another performance of the same show within their series for no service fee. Flex subscribers receive one free ticket exchange per show within their series; season subscribers receive unlimited free exchanges within their series! Note: when exchanging tickets for performance outside your subscription series dates, an upgrade fee may apply.

Exclusive Behind-The-Scenes Events

Season Salon

This is our annual kickoff event. The Salon is a chance to meet and greet the artists behind Remy Bumppo as well as learn more about the upcoming season. Enjoy a lively, sometimes irreverent panel discussion and Q & A on the season themes with some of the most important critics, artists, and thinkers in Chicago. Admission is free and open to all Remy Bumppo subscribers and their guests.

First Rehearsal Receptions

Subscribers and their guests are invited to join us for an exclusive First Rehearsal Receptions for each production. These events provide an in-depth look into the creative process through presentations by the director and designers, followed by a chance to experience the first working rehearsal with the actors. This event is a great opportunity to meet the artists behind Remy Bumppo and to gain a deeper appreciation for both the creative process and the literary work itself.

Translations & Adaptations Playreading Series

Throughout the season, Remy Bumppo invites subscribers to attend readings of new works adapted from other mediums or newly translated works. Many of the plays included in this series will be presented for the first time ever. This is a wonderful opportunity to become part of the artistic process, as many of the writers will be in attendance, while also helping Remy Bumppo examine shows which may be a part of future mainstage seasons.

Remy Bumppo Newsletter and Field Guide 

All subscribers receive our bi-monthly e-newsletter, with supplemental information about upcoming shows, profiles of Remy Bumppo Artistic Associates, trivia contests, and much more. Our production Field Guide is our online study tool, with rich information about each production’s process and the history and context of each play.
