As an included BONUS: You will receive an exclusive invitation to the weekly Sunday evening dinner party at the atelier of Jim Haynes -- featured on NPR's "This I Believe". Due to this recent publicity, this has become one difficult-to-get-into soiree! You will join a group of eighty or more guests who, just like you, are mostly visitors to Paris. Food, drink and conversation are continuous in Jim's intimate atelier and adjoining garden from 8pm to 10:30pm.

Jim is a noted author (Thanks for Coming!), American ex-pat, long-time European resident, and long-time arts enthusiast. The subject of several books and articles (e.g. In Praise of Joy: White Washing Fences with Jim Haynes and Throw a Great Party: Inspired by Evenings in Paris with Jim Haynes) he opened Britain's first paperback book store in Edinburgh in the 1950s, started the Traverse Theatre and the famous Arts Lab, and participated in the creation of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. A retired teacher, Jim taught Media Studies and Sexual Politics in Paris for 30 years.

Details, Terms and Restrictions:

* Flat is available for a maximum of 14 continuous days between May 11, 2010 and January 10, 2011.

* Winner must select date of travel by May 1, 2010.

* Flat sleeps two adults.

* At least one occupant of the flat must be at least 21 years of age.

* Smoking is not permitted in the flat.

* Winner of the flat must meet with the owner of the flat prior to travel (upon a mutually agreed date and place.)

* Flat is a second-floor walk-up in a five-level, secure building housing 20 flats.

* There is a modest (approx. €20) fee to join Jim Haynes' soiree.
