With the help of the theatre’s greatest writers like Stoppard, Shaw, Wilde and Albee, Remy Bumppo presents plays that combine humor, wit, and intelligent arguments in the hope that you leave the theatre thinking, talking and maybe even debating about what you just saw.

As ticket sales currently cover only 40% of our annual budget, we depend upon private contributions to fill the gap. While Remy Bumppo has been receiving critical and public acclaim for our productions for 14 years, we are a mid-sized theatre company producing nationally-recognized plays with the same veteran Chicago actors and top-notch talent as our significantly larger contemporaries.
