Through structured workshops with Core Ensemble Member and Playwright Aurora Real de Asua, you’ll learn how to analyze your own work, exchange feedback with fellow playwrights, and take concrete steps towards getting your play staged.

Directing: Tech, Previews, and Beyond

Over the course of the class, students will study multiple approaches to integrating performance and design. This class will provide tools for collaborating with writers, performers, stage managers, choreographers/designers, and producers throughout designer runs, technical rehearsals and previews.

Decoding Text

Join Voice and Speech Artist Eva Breneman for a class focused on breaking down the structure of thought in theatrical text. In this 8-week class, students will work deeply on two pieces they select – one heightened text, and a second piece that can either be heightened text or a contemporary piece.
