Emily Cox is a Collegiate Assistant Professor at the University of Chicago and a Harper-Schmidt Fellow in the University of Chicago Society of Fellows. She is a writer and art historian whose research concerns art, literature, and philosophy in late-nineteenth-century Europe. Her scholarship has been published in Art History, and her criticism in Apollo and Art in America. She holds a PhD from Yale University, an M.St. from the University of Oxford, and a BA from the University of Virginia.
