ABOUT MIKE
Mike Durst, a Lighting Director at CNN, is a Washington D.C. based Lighting Designer and Lighting Director, he is also an ensemble member with A Red Orchid Theatre. Recent work includes Lighting Direction for CNN’s programming at The Democratic National Convention in Chicago, Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace? and other CNN programs. Lighting Design for The Radio & Television Correspondents’ Dinner, Cincinnati Playhouse, Goodman Theatre, The Huntington Theatre, The McCarter Theatre Center, Court Theatre, Detroit Public Theatre, Olney Theatre Center, Red Orchid, and others. Off Broadway credits include shows with Primary Stages, 59e59, and Cherry Lane. Mike is a recipient of Chicago’s Jeff award, L.A.’s Ovation award, and San Diego’s Craig Noel award.
