Kate McDuffie

Kate has been with Remy Bumppo since 2023.


Kate McDuffie (she/her) is a non-profit arts administrator with a passion for theatre and accessible arts education. She currently works at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra Association as their Community Marketing Coordinator, and has served as a section leader at the First United Methodist Church at the Chicago Temple since 2016, as well as a volunteer Facilitator with A.B.L.E. Ensemble since 2019. Formerly, Kate spent six years as a music and theatre educator where she produced and directed her talented students in performing arts showcases and plays such as A Midsummer Night’s Dream by William Shakespeare, Middletown by Will Eno, Antigone by Sophocles, and The Bear by Anton Chekhov. Kate loves to take part in and support the vibrant Chicago theatre scene as an audience member, and now as a Remy Bumppo Board member! An avid Shakespeare fan, Kate also loves to travel to London and Stratford-Upon-Avon, England, as well as Stratford, Ontario, to see great theatre and experience as much Shakespeare as she can. Kate is currently serving as Vice-Chair of the Remy Bumppo Board of Directors Engagement Committee.
