ABOUT AEL

Ael Diehm (she/her), Remy Bumppo’s Operations Manager, is a Chicago-based artist of many mediums. She has roots that span the midwest soil, with a legacy in not only artistic pursuits, but political activism, and community enrichment programming. From 2019-2021 she served on the National Cohort for Planned Parenthood: Generation Action, where she led a program to expand healthcare access in rural Missouri communities, and successfully lobbied at the U.S. Capitol for its funding. In 2021 she received a Catalyst Award for LGBTQ Activists for her development of the Queer Health Alliance of Mid-Missouri. She has found her role in Theater Administration to be the crossroads of her experience in operations management and her passion for the Arts and community enrichment. Ael is a firm believer that the Arts are for all and is proud to work for a theater company which truly embodies that.
