ABOUT MACKENZIE

Mackenzie Schleyer (she/her) has been with Remy Bumppo Theatre Company since 2016. Before joining the company, she previously held the position of Marketing Assistant at Florida Studio Theatre for 3 seasons where she worked on 60+ mainstage, cabaret, improv, and children’s theatre productions as well as community engagement events and educational programs. Along with her full-time marketing responsibilities, she assisted with their summer camp and served as the choreographer for the WRITE A PLAY program with shows such as RUMPLESTILTSKIN, Playmakers Tour: WRITE IT UP, WRITE IT DOWN!, and IMAGINATION ADVENTURES. Mackenzie has also worked with Windy City Performing Arts, served as a marketing and social media consultant for independent business owners, and has choreographed for multiple schools and events within the Chicagoland, Milwaukee and Sarasota, Florida areas. She holds a BFA in Theatre Management and Promotions as well as a minor in Dance from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater. She thanks theatre for bringing her and her husband together, and thanks Johnnie for his constant support and love.
