The Spoken Word for Non-Actors 

Do you have a love of the spoken word? Or wish that you did? Dive into great texts with Core Ensemble member Chiké Johnson and learn the methods theatre professionals use in approaching text, acting, and public speaking. In this class, you will study approaches to public speaking through working on the great plays of the past and of today. Over the course of five weeks you will have ample opportunity to practice public speaking and to learn how to translate your passion for language to speaking powerful words.
