Why has The Agitators been cancelled?

Given the CDC and Chicago Department of Health’s recommendations regarding COVID-19, and with the utmost concern for our patrons, artists and staff, Remy Bumppo Theatre Company has made the difficult decision to cancel The Agitators indefinitely. Sadly, there are too many risks to continue responsibly with production, and the health and safety of our community must be our priority.

I’m a Remy Bumppo Subscriber. What will happen with my tickets for The Agitators?

The Remy Bumppo staff will be contacting you directly in regards to your tickets. We do encourage patrons to donate the value of their tickets back Remy Bumppo however, refund requests will also be respectfully honored.

I had purchased individual tickets for The Agitators . What will happen with my tickets?

The Remy Bumppo staff will be contacting you directly in regards to your tickets. We do encourage patrons to donate the full value of their tickets back Remy Bumppo however, refund requests will also be respectfully honored.

If I choose to donate my tickets, how will my donation be used?

Your tax-deductible donation will help support the compensation of the designers, actors, and production team who have put their hearts and souls into this show. It  will also continue to keep our staff working remotely as well as help secure our upcoming season, which we hope to announce very soon.

Your donation will also be doubled as a group of generous supporters have collectively offered to match all donated tickets.

If I choose to receive a refund for my tickets, how and when will I get my money back?

We will notify you once your refund has been processed and will follow up by sending you a check in the mail. Due to current delays in mail delivery, we do ask that you please allow extra time for the refund check to arrive. If you do not see the payment within 10 days, please contact one of our staff members at 773.344.9216.

When will you be announcing the ‘20-’21 season? When will I be able to renew or purchase a subscription for next season?

Remy Bumppo fully expects to present a full season of shows for our wonderful friends and subscribers next year. We will officially announce the next season and will send out more information about that via email and (at a later date) postal mail. In the meantime, start to get excited for a great new season of shows! We are very eager to have you back at the theater!
